The time series for each winter always begins Dec 1, and is 182 days,
so it ends May 31 on non-leap years and May 30th on leap years. 2. Daily Grids - ASCII formatted, 510 x 516 grid cells of ice concentrations for each day of each winter season, 1973 - 2002. 3. Daily Images -
individual images of ice concentration spatial patterns for each day of
of each winter, 1973 - 2002. 4. Daily Lake and River Averages - spatial averages of ice cover for each Great Lake, for the combined area of all 5 Great Lakes, for the St. Marys River, and for the Detroit River.
