This transmissometer data was collected as a part of a LaGrangian experiment in which two
identical experimental arrays were deployed approximately 12 miles SW of St. Joseph, MI; one at
the 30m depth contour, and one at 50m depth contour.  The arrays drifted with the current for
20 days and trajectories were tracked via satellite.

The arrays consisted of a surface float and transponder, a drogue at 5m below the surface,
and a sequential trap sampler and transmissometer mounted on a frame at 8m depth.  The arrays
were weighted with a chain and 4# anchor and had sub-surface floatation above and below the
drogue.   Trap data is not being reported as the flux data was not considered to be
quantitative.
