Bellevue, WA. The profiler samples its sensors at a programmable rate up to 24 hertz, providing the ability to characterize the water column with high accuracy, resolution, and fine-scale measurement performance. Depth bins of 1m were used to smooth out the data. Profiler Specifications: Range Accuracy Resolution Depth (meters) up to 6800 +/- 0.25% 0.015% Temperature (deg C) -5 to +35 +/- 0.002 0.0003 Conductivity (S/m) 0 to 7 +/- 0.0003 0.00004 Transmissometry was measured using the in situ transmissometer (Output is 0 - 5 Volts, 5 Volts = 0/m, 0 Volts = 55.262/m). Regression developed by A. Winkelman (GLERL) using water samples and CTD transmissometry from surv-1999-116, surv-1999-229, and surv-2000-101 Shenehon cruises: For 1999 & 2000: TSM (mg/l) = (1.65) * Atten - 0.67
