The first one is from a survey cruise aboard the R/V Laurentian. The chief scientist was Jim Waples. The op log is at www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/cruises/moor-1998-234.html, and the cruise track is at www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/cruises/moor-1998-234.gif. The second one is from a mooring cruise to deploy a dozen current meters from the R/V Shenehon. The chief scientist was Mike McCormick. The op log is at www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/cruises/moor-1998-237.html, and the cruise track is at www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/cruises/moor-1998-237.gif. I've also added some cruise images to our Resources page at www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/resources/cruise_images. One set of images is from a June, 1998 cruise showing an acoustic current meter on deck of R/V Shenehon and acoustic Doppler current profiler being lowered into water. Also shown is a CCIW Met tower on a Michigan City, IN pier. The other image shows the setup of large volume filtration aboard the R/V Laurentian during an August, 1998 cruise.
