For folks putting out moorings in the future, please be aware of these positions. The new St. Joe positions are in a file on the top of the Cruise Page: www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/cruises/transects/transects-all.html For folks planning survey cruises, especially when towing a deep water instrument, please use the above file to plan your cruise tracks and be aware of the mooring locations. The mooring locations are in a file on the top of the Cruise Page and are updated whenever moorings are deployed or retrieved. The file is: www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/cruises/tmp/moor-1998-current.html In particular, check out the dense array of moorings and the fixed survey track on/near the St. Joe transect at: www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/cruises/transects/transects-stjoe.gif By my calculations, Hawley's W1 tripod and survey station J10 are only 0.95 km apart, and McCormick's A3a_98 mooring and survey station J30 are only 1.12 km apart. Happy Trails, Greg
