For those of you cruising..... Although the PIs aren't listed, look at the purpose. Survey is Hank, Plankton is Goad, Optics is Fahnenstie, Sediment is Edgington. Where Multiple investigators are listed, the time will be divided according to the requests. I've avoided every holiday (I think) except July 4th. Remember the first date listed is the day of departure, last date is day of return to Grand Haven. I haven't posted the revisions yet on the Unols page because I want all of you to look the schedule over completely. I can't accomodate Hank in May, due to the first episode cruise for Kites. Remember, please fax me your cruise plans asap; no later than 3 weeks before the start of the cruise. With an additional 60 days on the schedule, it's tight and I have to move lots of people around, and need time to plan things. If there are any questions, comments, or corrections, just email me. Days within multiple PI segments will be doled out in another email, unless you have specific requests right now. Kites doles out their own time and legs. Please again remember that when you return to port, there will be a mandatory 8 hour period in port before loading can begin for the next leg. This is to keep within watchkeeping rules that require a mandatory, no interruption, period of rest during a 24 hour period. Also, the ship cell phone is to be used for ship business or emergencies only. The PI will be responsible for bringing their own cell phone. In the wet lab is an extra large antenna that you can plug into. Do not have someone call the ship unless it is a real emergency. Thanks,,,,,,, Linda M.
