No updates needed there. The question remains as to the next event. A new storm over the weekend looks likely, but it is not yet clear as to the magnitude and especially the storm track. Current indications are that it will be quite similar to today's system but there is a good chance that it will pass further to the east, bringing the strongest winds outside of our area of concern. I should be able to give better guidance on that Thursday-Friday. A major event is still forecast for the early-to-middle part of next week (peaks on March 9, of similar magnitude to last year's event (also on March 9). However, it is too early to say anything definite about this one. Looks like I'll have to keep an eye on the forecasts over the weekend and send updates then. Paul Roebber
