This will divert the path of next week's storm further east (along the east coast, in fact), so there do not appear to be any major northerly wind storms in sight for Lake Michigan over the next 10 days. The best we can manage is about 15 knots from the north tonight and Thursday as the anticyclone arrives. Decent southerlies develop over the weekend and again late next week, which will do nothing for plume development but will bring in warm air - say hello to spring! Paul Roebber
