I will be chairing the physical measurements and modeling group session
on Thursday morning at the EEGLE-KITES all-hands meeting.  I was hoping
that we could start with a summary of progress in 98-99 and plans for
99-00 by a representative from each of the physical projects.  These
would be:

P2. Measuring Turbidity Plumes Using Remote Sensing Imagery. C. Kerfoot, J. Budd,
and R. Stumpf

P3. Physical Oceanography Observations. J. Saylor, G. Miller, and M. McCormick

P4. HF Radar Observations on Currents, Winds, and Waves. J. Vesecky

P5. Hydrodynamic Modeling Program. D. Schwab and D. Beletsky

P6. Meteorological Modeling Program. P. Roebber

P7. Sediment Resuspension and Transport Modeling Program. K. Bedford

If Joe Niebauer or Chen wants to join our group, we'd be happy to hear of their
progress too.  Maybe RCR Yerubandi can give a summary of CCIW's work. Please
designate a representative from each project to give a brief presentation.  I
will also need an overhead or two from each of you to use for our group
presentation at the plenary session in the afternoon. If there are any issues
you feel we should address at the group meeting, or that need to be brought up
before all the PI's, mention them during your presenation and I will make a
list that we can work from when the presentations are all done. Finally, we
need to agree on our strategy for the 99-00 field season.
