The shift to northerlies has proceeded as far south as Sheboygan at 8am and Milwaukee at 9am, so the rest of the winds in the southernmost regions of the Lake should be turning northerly shortly. Temperatures are falling rapidly as the wind shifts. Winds will continue N-NE into tomorrow morning, 20-30 knots today and tonight dropping to about 15 knots by tomorrow morning and weakening further thereafter. NE winds pick up again to 10-20 knots on Saturday as a cyclone passes south of Lake Michigan. Still looks like snow next week, but the models are backing off quite a bit on the intensity of the storm. Also, the timing is quite variable in the different model runs, so there is a high degree of uncertainty for this one. Only thing to do is to wait for further updates. Paul Roebber
