Subject: EEGLE/KITES All hands at Argonne

EEGLE/KITES:

I know a lot of folks are preparing for the upcoming EEGLE workshop at the 
Homestead Resort, but I have some new and important info about the EEGLE/KITES 
All-Hands Meeting.

As you may recall, the meeting will take place at Argonne National Lab, outside 
of Chicago, IL, on Nov 30-Dec 1, 2000.   An agenda is forthcoming.

I've set up a page for this workshop at 
http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/workshops/argonne2000/.  According to Barry Lesht, 
it is very important for all participants to read and follow the lodging/registration 
instructions on the top of this page.

Reservations may be made using the On-Line Registration Form 
(http://www.aps.anl.gov/travel/accomodation-form.html ) or by phone (800) 632-8990.  
On the form, enter "EEGLE/KITES Meeting" where it asks "Any Special Needs?".  
Enter Barry Lesht as the Contact Person.  His telephone number is 630-252-4208, 
and his Division is Environmental Research Division. ALL meeting participants must 
be registered by Oct. 31!

ALL foreign nationals (including permanent residents) MUST contact Barry by phone 
(630-252-4208) or by e-mail (bmlesht@anl.gov) no later than Oct. 15 to receive 
special instructions.  Foreign nationals who are citizens of sensitive countries 
will have to have an index check completed and, depending on the result, may be 
denied access to the site (unlikely, but possible).
