So far I have heard from only five foreign nationals (4 students at MTU, one EEGLE PI) who have requested clearance to attend the EEGLE/KITES All Hands meeting here at Argonne. Please remember that ALL non-US citizens (even permanent residents) must complete Part I of Form 593 (sent with my last message) to be granted access to the site. Citizens of so-called 'sensitive countries' (including China, India, Russia, and Taiwan among others) must have an index check done as well. The form isn't very involved and it can be completed electronically and returned to me by e-mail. Because I need to file a security plan that explicitly includes all the foreign participants, I would very much appreciate receiving this information as soon as possible. I've asked for replies by Monday the 16th- the later I get these things in, the higher the probability that they won't be processed before the meeting and someone may be left standing outside the gate. Thanks for your help. Barry -- Barry M. Lesht Associate Director, Environmental Research Division Argonne National Laboratory Phone: 630.252.4208 9700 S.
