Therefore, I replaced the "Date" and "Time" header information with the Day of Year (DOY) and GMT time from the appropriate OP Log. See the example below. ********************************** NEW HEADER http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/data/2000/pss_vanderploeg/surv-2000-252/MS1000.COMB.txt ********************************** Dir = surv-2000-252/ "TITLE:","","Muskegon Transect, Laurentian cruise, M110 -> M45, Op No. L2000253.04S" "DATE: DOY 253, 1250 GMT (from Op Log)", M45 -> M15, Op No. L2000253.08S" "COMMENT:","","" "FROM FILE:","","MS10.D00","MS10.D01" "TIME FROM START:","","0 (s)" "EXTRACTION:","","FULL-CONTINUOUS" ********************************** ********************************** OLD HEADER ********************************** Dir = surv-2000-252/ "TITLE:","","Muskegon Transect, Laurentian cruise, M110 -> M45, Op No. L2000253.04S" "DATE:","","Sat Sep 09 08:47:16 2000", M45 -> M15, Op No. L2000253.08S" "COMMENT:","","" "FROM FILE:","","MS10.D00","MS10.D01" "TIME FROM START:","","0 (s)" ********************************** See http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/data/objects/obj_17.Zooplankton.2.html for all EEGLE PSS data.
