This is a reminder that we have a responsibility to permanently archive all of the EEGLE data. A few of us produced data plans at the beginning of the program - they are in: http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/data/docs/data_inventory_plans/ To see where we are, the currently available data statisticss are at: http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/data/data.stats.gif This is from the EEGLE Data Page: "Data will be publicly available in the fall of 2002, 2 years after all data collection is complete (for more details, see the EEGLE Data Policy at http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/data/docs/data_policy.html)" We're not yet sure of the complexity involved in converting our current web-based data to the NGDC permanent archive, but we know that we only want to do it once - so please submit your final data to Greg, or let him know what your schedule is, along with an approximate file size. We won't make the data public until the Fall, 2002 date at the earliest, but we need to complete this task and let Greg move on to other projects.. ============================================ Brian J.
