Regressions were developed for the "pre-plume" (January-February), "plume" (March) and "post-plume" (early and late April) cruises 1998-2000. For a complete description of the methods used in developing these regression equations, see http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/eegle/data/1998/pss_vanderploeg/pss1.met. See in particular the two MS Word files that are linked to in this meta data file. I have replaced all PSS files in the EEGLE Database that correspond to the following cruises: surv-1998-028 surv-1998-068 surv-1999-046 surv-1999-067 surv-1999-095 surv-1999-116 surv-2000-049 surv-2000-070 surv-2000-101 Due to proprietary issues, the new plots are in png format instead of gif format. You will notice that the Light Attenuation column in the txt files has been replaced with derived-TSM. Same is true for the plots. Also, the new plots have "(v2)" appended to the title at the top to distinguish them from the plots they are replacing. Additional regressions will be developed for the remaining months when time permits. Greg
