• Discuss progress, problems, etc
• Identify potential areas of synthesis -- program philosophy of intense regional studies that can be generalized. Examples: detailed synthesis of large March, 1998 EEGLE event, sediment transport into a depositional basin, regional synthesis of shear stress and sediment resuspension
• Develop list of remaining "critical" questions in light of research results to date
• Identify areas of future research (major themes)
• Identify participants to a dedicated issue (titles, participants and deadlines)
• Tentatively - Continental Shelf Research, Limnology and Oceanography
• Reports (10-15 minutes) to plenary on Friday at 11:00
