- Physics (co-chairs: Schwab and Ralph)
- Ecology (co-chairs Green and Gardner)
- Sediments (co-chairs Klump and Eadie)
Charge to Workgroups
- Discuss progress, problems, etc
- Identify potential areas of synthesis -- program philosophy of intense regional
studies that can be generalized. Examples: detailed synthesis of large March, 1998
EEGLE event, sediment transport into a depositional basin, regional synthesis of shear
stress and sediment resuspension
- Develop list of remaining "critical" questions in light of research results to date
- Identify areas of future research (major themes)
- Identify participants to a dedicated issue (titles, participants and deadlines)
- Tentatively - Continental Shelf Research, Limnology and Oceanography
- Reports (10-15 minutes) to plenary on Friday at 11:00
11:00 Convene plenary to discuss progress
- Reports from theme co-chairs on the following topics:
- Ideas around which to develop interdisciplinary products for EEGLE, KITES, EEGLE + KITES,
more general. Identify what, how, when, and participants.
- Formalize joint publication(s) (venue, schedule, participants, organizer(s))
