Data for Muskegon, MI (Lake Michigan Field Station) WebCam LATITUDE: 43-13-40 N LONGITUDE: 86-20-20 W LOCATION: Coast Guard communications tower, Muskegon, MI Site online 14 Oct 1998 WebCam Image: The Lake Michigan Field Station (LMFS) webcam array consits of 3 Panasonic V-CP234 CCTV cameras and a Burle TC360 CCTV camera. These are connected to an Axis 240 video server which is present on the LMFS LAN. The system is set to FTP images to our Ann Arbor office every 5 minutes. The resolution of these images is VGA (640x480). Note, the orientation of Camera 3 is generally changed in late spring and early fall. During the fall, winter, and spring, it will be pointed to show the Steelhead fisherman along the breakwater. In the summer, it will be pointed to show the beach.
