GLERL Scientist Dr. Peter Landrum
Receives SETAC Founders Award
On November 14, 1999 GLERL scientist Dr. Peter Landrum received the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) Founders Award. The award is given annually in recognition of outstanding career achievements and contributions to the environmental sciences consistent with the goals of SETAC. SETAC is a professional society of individuals and institutions engaged in the study of environmental issues, management and regulations of natural resources, education, and research and development. The award was presented during SETAC's 20th annual meeting held this year at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
