RESUME

  6. Education:
    • High School name, city, state, and date of diploma or GED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES (KSAs, Branch Chief Position)

The information provided in the KSA responses will be heavily relied upon in the rating process. Applicants must prepare a concise narrative addressing EACH of the KSAs listed. Show how your experience and/or education provided you with that KSA. Include such things as experience that gave you the specific knowledge, skill or ability; objectives of your work; and evidence of your success (such as accomplishments, awards received, etc.). Responses must be separate from the application form.

1) Ability to manage and supervise a diverse group of scientific and technical support staff.

2) Experience in applications of technology in aquatic sciences, data management, engineering, computer applications and research vessel operations.

3) Experience in policy and program development.

4) Ability to initiate, develop, conduct and publish on research programs that are recognized as nationally significant.

5) Ability to communicate research findings to diverse groups, including scientific colleagues, managers, students and public, and to demonstrate scientific leadership and/or participate in multi-institutional research planning and research activities.

C) Other Documents that are required if applicable..
