ABSTRACT: For over four decades, the water levels of Lake Ontario have been regulated. Recently, the International Joint Commission initiated the International Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence River Study to investigate improvements and consider interests not formally included in the present regulation plan, including, recreational boating and environmental factors. Dr. Anthony Eberhardt will describe the regulation plan and the study, which will strive toward improving water level and flow conditions for a wide spectrum of interests.
