Every year, NOAA's Great Lakes Environmental Research
Laboratory (GLERL), in partnership with the Cooperative
Institute for Limnology and Ecosystems Research (CILER, University
of Michigan) and the Great
Lakes Sea Grant Network, hosts seminars covering a variety of
scientific topics, particularly those relating to the Great Lakes.
This year, in addition to guest speakers from other institutions,
we are featuring presentations by GLERL scientists, and have scheduled
the latter for the third Thursday of each month except July and
August. The Seminar Series is temporarily suspended during July
and August due to summer schedules.
Seminars are held in the GLERL Main
Conference Room at 2205 Commonwealth Blvd., located in NE Ann
Arbor just west of US-23 Exit 41 (unless otherwise posted). Seminars
that have already been presented are listed on our Past
Seminars page. Presentation videotapes and slides for some seminars
are also available in this area.
