GLERL-Donelan wave model (2010-2021)

The wave model uses a regular, medium-res, structured grid (squares defined by x,y), based on POM-based lakes grids.  All hourly 
output is converted to netCDF files.

out1_waves = Output params surface: wvh, wvd, wvp
 where:
    wvh = Significant Wave Height (m),
    wvd = Wave Direction (Degrees; 0=toward N; 90=toward E),
    wvp = Wave Period (sec),

Date/Time strings (hourly):
YYYY-MM-DD hh (GMT), Decimal DOY (GMT)

Note: the GLERL-Donelan wave model was turned off 1/1/2022.
