Click on a sampling location on the map to view its data below. Data points labeled as "Non-Detectable" indicate a Microcystin sample that measured less than 0.1 μg/L.
We also have included data collected on Chlorophyll a concentrations, water temperature sampled from a CTD (conductivity, temperature, and depth) profiler, and secchi depth.
For 2016, samples were taken at up to 3 depths with respect to their sampling location's column depth: surface scum, surface, and bottom for sites WE 2, 8, 12, and 13. Surface scum covers the very top of the column, surface is approximately 0.75 m deep, and bottom is 1 m off the bottom of the lake. Surface and bottom depths are represented in the columns of charts below.
WHO Recommended Guidelines (for reference)
Drinking water = 1µg/L
Low risk recreational = 2-4µg/L
Moderate risk recreational - 20µg/L
High risk recreational = avoid visible scums
Particulate and Dissolved Microcystins have different vertical axis ranges
