Professional Experience:

Observing Systems Researcher (1994 - present) in GLERL's Marine Instrumentation Laboratory working on innovations in the fields of electronics, mechanics, and software engineering contributing to the development of advanced environmental measurement technology. Current research interests include buoy-based internet accessible observation systems and integrated circuit micro-sensor technology. Systems Engineering Researcher (1989 - 1994) Wright Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. Development and testing of aircraft systems for low-level flight including aircraft control system and sensors such as LIDAR, RADAR, and digital map. Electronics Engineer (1983 - 1989) Naval Air Development Center, Indianapolis, IN. Submarine communications sub-system design, development and testing.
