Aquatic invasive species
Lower food-web dynamics
Dreissenid mussel ecology
Benthic ecology
Effects of UV radiation

My current research focuses on our spatial studies program in Lake Michigan and Lake Huron examining long-term changes in the pelagic food web due to stressors such as invasive species. I also work on projects involving Dreissenid mussel ecology and their distribution, growth, and feeding habits within the Great Lakes. I also provide field, lab, and data support for other projects as needed.
