Bryan Mroczka

Bryan Mroczka is a Physical Scientist with the Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL) in Ann Arbor, MI. Bryan's position is located within GLERL’s Integrated Physical and Ecological Modeling and Forecasting (IPEMF) branch. Bryan received a Bachelors of Science(2000)and Masters of Science (2003) in Meteorology from Florida State University. After 18 years with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS), Bryan joined the GLERL team in August of 2021. Bryan's research interests at GLERL include hydro-meteorological modeling,both improving the forecast and analysis related to safe navigation through the Great Lakes, and also the meteorological impacts of the Great Lakes on overlying and downstream atmosphere.
