Summary: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Fish and Aquatic Conservation, and the Aquatic Nuisance Species Task Force commissioned research to assess the impact of current invasive species campaigns on the behaviors of water-based outdoor recreationists. The study utilized a national online survey to determine the effectiveness of existing campaigns by targeting adult U.S. residents involved in any of seven water-based activities (freshwater fishing, saltwater fishing, motorboating, non-motorized boating, scuba diving, snorkeling, or waterfowl hunting).
